Wayō comes from the term “wayo secchu” which means the “compromise between East and West.”

Who is the chef at Bar Wayō?
Sam Kang is the Chef de Cuisine of Bar Wayō. David Chang is the Chef and Founder of Momofuku.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. Please alert our team of any special dietary needs you have, and they’ll be able to help identify appropriate offerings. Due to our constantly evolving menus, we can make accommodations on a case-by-case basis.
Is Bar Wayō wheelchair accessible?
Do you take reservations? Do you allow walk-ins?
Bar Wayō is primarily reserved for walk-in guests, but we accept limited reservations 7 days in advance for up to 7 guests at our communal patio through Resy.
Can I bring my own wine?
Yes. Our corkage fee is $35 per 750mls for the first two bottles and $50 for each subsequent bottle. Please note that we do not allow corkage for wines that appear on our list.
Can I bring my own cake?
Yes. Please inform us beforehand if you plan to bring an outside cake, which may incur a cutting fee of $5 per guest.
Do you do take-out orders or delivery?
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased online or at any of our restaurants. Gift cards are redeemable at our restaurants in New York, Washington, and Los Angeles. Please note, Momofuku gift cards are not redeemable at Momofuku Las Vegas or at Fuku.
